3 day easy roam perk not working internationally

I have a 3 day easy roam perk on my account,  however, currently I'm in France and it is not working... any help would be appreciated. 

I've tried everything,  even manually attempting to connect to local carriers but it doesn't connect

Hi there,

Just some questions to confirm some things, does the EasyRoam 3-day international perk show in your koodo self-serve? 

Also, under your add-ons in self-serve, do you have the add-ons in the image below? And did you purchase a roaming pass in addition to having your perk.

We have checked and we can see the roaming add ons that Oliver mentioned about above, are not active on the line ending in *48.

Please let us know if you cannot add them in self serve under Mobile Services - Manage add-ons.

With the koodoo plan that I have,  I was asked to select a perk. I added the 3 day international roaming as my perk, as of last month.  I'm unsure what needs to be done on my side to have this activated... 

I got a message from a kodoo agent via email stating that it has now been activated, however, in still unable to connect to any network inspite of turning off my phone and turning it back on.  I ended up buying a global Sim card to have access to data on the go. Really disappointed that this isn't working out and very confused as to why it's so hard to make it work when it's a selected perk. Thank you for all the input...

We are sorry to hear that!

We can see indeed the perk is active on your line, however, in order for it to work the roaming add ons also need to be provisioned to your line (the ones that Oliver listed in the screenshot above). You should be able to add those in self serve under Mobile Services  - Manage add ons, however if you are encountering any issues, please let us know and we can add them for you.

Would you be so kind to add the roaming add on please. Also, if I understand correctly the roaming perk starts at 12:01 and is upuntil 23:59? Is that correct? Also just to clarify is the perk for any 3days or 3 consecutive days?

If you are unable to add it on your Self-Serve account, you can text ROAM to 7626.

The add-on can be used over consecutive days or spread out over your billing cycle. It really depends on your needs. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/services/pickyourperk

Is this a free add on,coz if not, then I don't see the point in having a 3 day international roaming access perk!

Yes, it is a Perk that you choose for your plan.

Someone kind will need to add the ROAM access on my account as with the global data Sim I purchased, I am unable to send out text messages..

We have managed to add the first 2 from the screenshot shared by Oliver, however the 3rd one can be added in self serve only or by sending ROAM to 7626 as Milkyway suggested. Let us know if you are able to add it in self serve: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/changing-your-add-ons

 

After restarting your phone, you should be able to connect to the network with your Koodo plan.

Please let us know if it works for you.

 

The 3-day can be used on consecutive or non-consecutive days
