Wifi Calling on pixel6 pro

Hi,

I tried to enable wi-fi calling on my Pixel 6 Pro but however many times  I try it just says “Please contact your provider to enable wi-fi calling”

I checked that my account for the phone already has the add on enabled:  Koodo VoLTE Access

Also, I tried to go directly to: https://ent.telus.com/acmegw-android/entitlement/e911  to enter emergency info that’s required for wifi calling.. but that doesn’t work either as it does nothing on submitting my contact info.

Please let me know how I can resolve this problem.

Hi @richardcheso

We have checked and we can see that VoLTE feature is correctly provisioned to your account, have you tried resetting the network settings in your phone?

Does that make any difference?

I believe this link only helps in provisioning the volte add-on but you can try using this as well:

No. still doesn’t work. I reset my network settings and rebooted the phone.. Still get the same result “Please contact your carrier to enable Wi-Fi calling”

Koodo .. it finally worked after spending more than 1.5 hours on the phone.. Nothing worked even resetting network settings on my phone and rebooting multiple times..

It turns out they had to tweak some network settings on my line (don’t know the details of what settings were updated at the back end).. and finally after doing that .. without rebooting my phone, I was able to activate wi-fi calling..

Thanks Koodo!
