If someone calls and leaves a voicemail while I am travelling, will that incur charges? I don’t mean checking my voicemail - I understand that does incur a charge - but just someone leaving a message on my voicemail.

That should not. Are you 100% certain that you have used no data? No outgoing SMS? No answered calls of any kind? In billing it shows up as a call made.
I’m asking pre-emptively in preparation for travelling to the states. Just wondering if it is necessary to disable my voicemail.
