transfer a number to new account

I have 2 accounts under my name. My son wants his number under his name and under his own account.  How can I do that?  Thanks in advance

HI ​@Jimmy, as account holder you can initiate a Transfer of Ownership for the line your son wants to take over. Then, he has 10 days to complete the transfer to a new account under his name. You can find more information on this process here.

    Note that a transfer of ownership costs $75.

    It is actually cheaper sign up for a new account & plan

      Note that if he wants to keep his number, this is where it gets harder. Koodo officially does not transfer numbers from line to line the way porting works, but I've been told that Koodo CAN do it but that is not something well known and you might not get a rep that knows it exists. Or it might have even been changed that they won't do it anymore. Unfortunately I don't know if it's current info still.

       

      Signing up for a new account and plan would necessitate porting out to someone else and back in again and that would still be noticeably cheaper but just more convoluted.
