Question

SM-DP+ Address

I am trying to activate a eSIM on a Linux device and it requires a SM-DP+ Address to activate the eSIM.  I was not provided a QR Code that includes this info.

Does anyone have the MS-DP+ Address for Koodo activations?

Koodo does not provide an sm-dp+ address for manually entering an esim

Hi

Koodo doesn't publish a generic SM-DP+ Address publicly. Additionally, each eSIM has its own unique Activation Code, and both are generated automatically when you request an eSIM through your Self Serve account or at a Koodo store. Hence, having SM-DP+ Address alone wouldn’t be  enough to activate any eSIM.

Just to clarify — are you currently residing in Canada? and are you a newly activated customer?

Anyway, I recommend you visit a Koodo store or authorized retailer and ask a rep to give you an eSIM voucher for you

Edited: if you already had a QR code, you can use an QR code reader to read the information on the QR code, the SM-DP+ information should be there.

I am a newly activated customer.

However, I am trying to activate on a device that requires an SM-DP address as it is NOT a iOS or Android device.

I am aware that non iOS or Android devices are rare…  But they do exist and it is odd that they don’t let users know this more readily.

I will check with an in-person store.

Thanks,

You can try to put in rsp-1006.oberthur.net as the SM-DP+ address. Let us know if it works for you.
