I’m not too sure how to word this so it makes sense, but I just received my new phone and SIM card. I put my SIM card in my new phone and transferred everything from my old phone to the new one including phone number. Now both of my phones are working and I’m not sure why. I activated my new sim card and took the old one out of my old phone but still all my messages are being sent to my old phone. I can see peoples location on my old phone as well but not my new one… something just isn’t making sense and neither phones are working to the fullest yet they both work???… I’m so confused, someone please help!!

What phone do you have? Did you have RCS enabled and/or are you using iMessages? In that case, you might need to deactivate it with Google or Apple and then reactivate that on your new phone. See also https://messages.google.com/disable-chat
