My phone is currently on a Telus business account. I plan to retire shortly. I want to move my number to a Koodo starter plan. I just want to be sure that when I do this that I will keep my existing number and that the phone will be removed from my Telus account. It seems impossible to speak to anyone who can confirm this. Does anyone know?

In order to port number over to Koodo, you will need first to sign up online and a random phone number will be assigned.
Once you receive the Koodo sim card, you will need to proceed with the port request, here are the steps: https://koo.do/PortIn
Once port completed, phone number will be automatically canceled on TELUS account and will replace the random numeber that was assigned originally to your Koodo plan.

Apparently I also need to get the owner of our business account to confirm with Telus ahead of trying to port the number, that they confirm it is ok to transfer the number off the business account.
