Have receently installed Koodo Home internet and now my magic jack home phone does not work.   I have unplugged, reset all euipment and still no luck.  Looking online it has been suggested that I have provider “open ports 5060 through 5070 on the router/modem”  Help…….

Which type of model was it? You could look through the manual and change the settings of the router there.

Router(i think thats what its called) is Sercom Model DM1000

The other piece for the WIFI is Model B21A HW ver R02 if that makes any sense.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated, obviously this is not my strong suite

How do i get in touch with Koodo Assis?  Now on top of the magic jack issue the internet has been droping 3 or 4 times a day and i am having to reset(unplug and plug back in) the router.
