48 hours after getting a new phone set up with koodo, and having my old phone number brought to this provider.I'm out twelve thousand dollars and two non working phones along with my physical SIM card for my old phone who'd been taken out of it and who knows done what with it to be given an e, SIM with a new phone, that is absolutely pointless, you cannot verify anything or get too authentication done, if the new phone with an electronic SIM stops working, how are you gonna get the verification? If your phone isn't working, if you had a physical SIM card you woukd simply take it out and  put it into another phone that works, simple.  Nope not with a esim though, since my new phone didn't activate for whatever. F****** reason at my old phone does now not work because they took the SIM card out for whatever reason. I do not have a phone a working phone I can't even submit a ticket online to their customer service and get a receiver confirmation or a reply because I don't have a working phone. not having a person to talk to directly in customer service that alone would have made me not go with koodo, worst decision I have ever made in my life. I've endured more stress and annoyance and frustration in the last 48 hours than I have had with anything in the last 5 years.\n Not only has it affected my income. The way I feed and put a roof over my family's head. I don't have a phone. My mental state is absolutely through the roof right now. I am beyond mad and I'm beyond frustrated.  i know that this post in the forum will not do anything to help me as far as but the phone and whatnot with kudo mobile. That doesn't matter, because I will be going in tomorrow and expect koodo to fix this and be heavly compensated for my wasted time 16+ hours of potential lost revenue do to not bei g able to receive  alls and my cost for my fuel

Are you on an iPhone or Android? If the new phone can get on wifi, I would try that first. A rep confirmed on another thread that the eSIM push can get stuck after a port until the phone connects to wifi, and restarting or resetting network settings has brought the prompt up for others too. Also check your junk/spam folder for an email with the eSIM QR code.

Since you're going in tomorrow, a Koodo store can activate a physical SIM for you if the eSIM still won't come through, so you aren't stuck on eSIM. More info here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/esim-and-esim-vouchers

I'll flag a rep to take a look at your account as well.

Hi there, @BDM ! I verified and in our system your device looks linked to a working eSIM at the moment.

I can see that you already spoke with our Support over chat and they have suggested a callback, as or written Support Teams are limited and can’t complete eSIM activations.

Did you manage to book the callback with the Teams? Can you confirm if your eSIM is currently working?

Are you a new customer or are you moving here from Public Mobile using the Fast Switch option?

Have you tried restarting your phone to see if the esim triggers on your phone?

If you bought a phone that allows a physical sim, you do have the option to swap from an esim to a physical sim.  I personally prefer physical sims for my main number number so I understand your frustration.

Hi @BDM, there are no issues with the provisioning or the eSIM on your account. However, your number transfer was not completed as your previous provider did not receive your approval within 90 minutes of initiating the port.

If you still have your previous SIM card, place it in the phone and try to initiate the port in again from your online Koodo account, here is a guide.

If you no longer have your previous SIM card you would need to get in touch with your previous provider and ask them to remove the port authentication requirement before initiating the port again. If your account with them is closed, it needs to be re-opened before the number can be transferred.
