Koodo internet

I am trying to install my new Koodo modem but the outlet coming out of the wall is totally different than the one I need for connecting

I have a square shaped outlet (compatible with Virgin modem) and Koodo modem is round

How can I solve that ?

I need a technician to change the wires in my electric board

when you click the link, follow these steps:

1. Koodo Assist

2. Koodo internet

3. Type "Need a Technician"

4. After it responds, Type " Schedule a call"

5. After it responds, Type "I would like to talk to a rep".

This will then prompt the bot to suggest either billing, tech support, or account details to schedule a call. Select Tech support and it should prompt you to schedule a call.

Once you receive the call, explain how you do not have a coaxial port in the home and the rep can schedule a technician visit.🙂👍

Yes, you would need someone to install the coaxial port for you.

Have you received any installation or activation email from Koodo yet? Koodo sometimes sent out the modem before activation date.

It says it is a self service installation, but it is not as easy as it looks. It needs someone expert to change connections at my home. How can I reach their support technicians ?

Everything is robotic and I cannot reach a human support agent.

Hi there,

so that sounds like you have an ethernet or phone jack in the wall as opposed to the coaxial output that is required for Koodo internet.

Have you checked elsewhere in the house for the coaxial connection? Some steps to help find the coaxial port can be found in the link below.

It was removed and replaced by Virgin internet technician a few years ago when I moved to the house so he can extend his wires

Ah, well then that clears it up. You will need a technician to re-wire the connection into the home if there is none. The virgin technician likely put in a fibre jack instead. This cannot be used for Koodo internet.

To do this, you have to schedule a call back via koodo assist and book a time for a technician to show up.
