Issues with cancellation

I permanently left Canada in May, so I cancelled my phone service by phone. At the time, I was told that my final charges would be the May bill and the one-day roaming charge for the day I arrived in my new country.

However, I have continued to receive emails stating that I have outstanding charges even after cancelling my service. I would like to resolve this issue and make sure that no further charges are applied to my account.

It is likely there may still be an outstanding balance, especially when the due date is set for October 1. I have flagged a rep to confirm this for you.

Did you check the self-serve for your final bill? And did you pay it? Or are you getting new bills still? Do you still have self-serve access? A properly cancelled account would lose access after 90 days,

Thank you for your reply.

I have paid my final bill in the end of July.

I still have my access to self-serve and it shows that I have paid my final bill in July like the screenshot below.

Hi @gold09, the account is still open, unfortunately we can’t assist with cancellations via the Community. As you’re abroad, we’d recommend sending us a private message on social media via Facebook, Twitter/X or Instagram, you can find the respective icons in the bottom of this page.
