Is the Poco F4 GT compatible?

According to the phone specs, the Poco F4 GT supports:

Supports 5G* / 4G / 3G / 2G

5G: Supports NSA + SA

5G: n1 / 3 / 5 / 7 / 8 / 20 / 28 / 38 / 40 / 41 / 77 / 78

4G: LTE FDD: Band 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 7 / 8 / 12 / 17 / 18 / 19 / 20 / 26 / 28

4G: LTE TDD: Band 38 / 40 / 41

3G: WCDMA: Band 1 / 2 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 8 / 19

2G: GSM: Band 2 / 3 / 5 / 8

These bands are defined here, https://www.4g-lte.net/about/lte-frequency-bands/fdd/

Problem is Koodo only declares they support 4G LTE and 4G LTE Advanced, and the frequencies they reportedly comply with don’t align with the FDD bands that I linked to.

Thanks.

From the specs, the phone can work on Koodo network https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/my-phone-compatible-koodo

However, you might not be able to use VoLTE and VoWifi features with Koodo.

Thanks for the reply.  Not having Vo[LTE|Wifi] would be a showstopper.  How would one know whether a phone is compatible?  I would naively assume that the wifi protocols would cover that capability, no?  Are these protocols rolled up into VoIP, which is what Teams and Signal refer to, or separate protocols?  If separate, what apps would rely on these protocols?

Thanks.

That’s the compatibility list and how to set it up. YMMV if a phone not on that list will work. Being a new phone model, I’d say yes. To which protocol are you referring WRT wifi calling? It’s certainly VoIP. Sorry, I don’t follow what you mean by what apps which rely on which specific protocols?
