I am planning on upgrading my old flip phone, and I want the new phone to have WhatsApp and Youtube or Youtube Music on it.
I found that the CAT S22 Flip phone runs the App Store, so I can download both of these apps. Is the CAT S22 Flip phone compatible with the Koodo network?
Google AI keeps telling me that it is but it will drop calls frequently. Please advise. I am willing to consider other flip phones that meet my needs.

It would likely NOT work for voice and text due to incompatibility with VoLTE. If you are looking for a flip phone that works with Koodo, you can find a list here: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/phones.
The Sonim XP3plus could be a better option.
I wouldnt recommend the CAT S22 Flip.
Koodo use 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G
3G: 850Mhz (B5), 1900Mhz (B2)
4G LTE: 1700/2100Mhz (B4, B66), 700Mhz (B12, B13, B17, B29), 2600Mhz (B7), 850Mhz (B5), 1900Mhz (B2)
5G: 3500Mhz (n78), 600Mhz (n71), 1700/2100Mhz (n66)
The 3G network is being sunset in early 2027
The 5G network is used for Data only as VoNR is not available.
This leaves you with VoLTE as your main means to use calls.
Koodo unfortunately has a limited list of supported devices of 3rd party phones that they allow for VoLTE.
Your Cat S22 Flip uses the following bands:
3G: 850 / 900 / 1700(AWS) / 1900 / 2100
-So for today your 3G coverage will work for calls until early 2027
4G bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 17, 20, 25, 26, 28, 38, 39, 40, 41, 66, 71
Only B29 band is missing if Koodo starts allowing all 3rd party phones to use VoLTE.
There is no 5G connectivity on this phone.
