Is 1 844 518 7852 a legitimate Koodo or Telus number?

I’ve been getting calls multiple times a month (and recently, weekly) from 1 844 518 7852, which is screened as Telus on my phone. 

 I’m inclined to block the number, especially because they never leave a message, but I only started getting these calls after I created a Koodo account so I wonder if it’s actually legitimate. I believe I picked up once a while ago and I think it was an offer/someone claiming to be a sales rep but I don’t remember, I’m only bringing it up now because the frequency of calls is increasing

No, it does not seem to be legit and could very likely be a spoofed number to get you to provide your personal details. I would suggest you to ignore the call and block the number.

I used to get calls regularly from a "telus"  number.  Different numbers,  same name comes up, and i hadn't contacted koodo for a call back.  Eventually,  they stopped calling because I always declined the call. Occasionally my husband will get calls from a "telus " number.  I tell him to decline as its likely a scam. He also hadn't contacted koodo for a call back, so I don't trust it. He doesn't get those calls any more as he keeps declining.  My recommendation is unless your expecting a call back...don't answer calls from "telus" or "koodo "

    Indeed unless it is a known number, I would agree. There’s not much else needed to be done, annoying as it is.
