I received a text message from 4799 saying that  Koodo received a request to transfer my number to another service provider, which I didn't. What is this about? Could you check on that.

Hi @GMP

We have looked into it and we see that your phone number is active with Koodo.

We have limited access here on the community when it comes to transfer related inquiries, however based on the Transfer status, we see a port-out request that has been cancelled.

Thanks to the 2-factor authentication that was implemented some time ago to reduce the risk of fraudulent port out requests, the transfer goes through only if the user of the line replies to text to authorize the transfer, otherwise, the transfer request gets cancelled automatically.

We also recommend scheduling a call back with the virtual assist using the steps here to enable the the port protection on your line.
