Question

I have no signal

I just switched from a prepaid plan to a monthly plan using an eSIM. I received an activation link for the new eSIM from the website, but I'm not getting a signal and it just shows as "activating." Can you help me?

Just to confirm, is your phone compatible with eSIM? If it is, then was eSIM added to your device?
As well, are you currently staying in Canada and don’t use VPN?

Are you connected to Wi-Fi on the device attempting to add the eSIM? If not, the device won’t be able to retrieve the eSIM profile.

I'm in Canada, I don't use a VPN, and when I installed the eSIM I had Wi-Fi. My phone did accept eSIMs before I changed plans; I already had an eSIM. My phone is an iPhone 15 Pro Max.

hmm interesting. Do you still have the prepaid eSIM profile saved in the device settings?

As you have switched to postpaid, this would become deactivated. Have you tried deleting the prepaid eSIM profile and then scan the new postpaid eSIM or have you already attempted this?

If it say still "activating", the eSIM might have not been properly provisioned. Do you have "private relay"  turned on in your phone? As well, have you tried to restart the phone and readd the eSIM?

I would avoid deleting your prepaid esim profile as once you delete it you can't get it back.

When you switch back to your prepaid esim, does it still work?
