Having this issue when trying to connect in expert messaging. Tried multiple devices, networks, browsers and still that same isuse.

Have you tried private or incognito tab of a browser?

Correct, I tried incognito, different IP source, different devices. It was in regards to a conversation I was having yesterday with a rep for a new plan and wanted to continue that.

Hi Flo,

I tried to load the expert messaging from the help page and had issues and did not see the message chain.

I am getting a 

403 Forbidden error when checking the connection element it tries to initialized to the https://participant.connect.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/participant/connection link.

Unfortunately, we are unable to resend a link to the Expert Messaging team chat that you had, however in case you are still unable to return to the chat, we recommend initiating a new interaction with the Expert Messaging team through the virtual assist, as they should be able to access the chat history and further assist.

Were you able to investigate my error. It was not able to initiate a new expert messaging team conversation and I provided signficiant detail about the issue. 

 

We might need the back-end team involved but this is urgent for me to get rectified.

@Flo Koodo  The agent recreated my account and I had to reregister and seemed to fix the issue.

 

Does not explain why initially the connection/authorization failed to the back-end so I would still like a root cause analysis for this.

They would likely be investigating still. You can probably try following up in a few days to see if a reason was found. It really depends on the root cause and how long it takes to fully troubleshoot.
