doible charge for easyroam travelpass

on 6 June I had an activation for a 30 day European travel pass with a charge of $60. Since then I have been in Germany as well as Austria and I’m now in Hungary.  This morning at 01:00 I see a second charge for $60 on my account. tried getting in touch through the chat feature, but it does not seem to be working.

We have looked into it and we don’t see the bill details posted yet  as the bill was issue recently, but it should be posted today or tomorrow at the latest. Do you see the PDF bill on your end?

Someone responded to me in the chat. They suggested our wait until the official bill is posted as by then the duplicate charge may be removed?
 

I mentioned that this is not the first time I’ve had a problem with the easy roam travel pass and that I’m finding it frustrating that I have to check these things while I’m traveling to ensure I’m not being overcharged.

What happened last time?

Was it the exact same situation or something different?

 

This morning at 01:00 I see a second charge for $60 on my account

Where did you see notification of a 2nd $60 charge?  Does it say what the $60 charge is for?

When did you add your Travel pass (also how did you add it) and when did you land in europe?

The previous time I was traveling in the Caribbean and had taken a seven day pass. I had tried to add a second seven day pass to follow directly after the first seven day pass in the system would not let me. I ended up being charged several days at $18 per day. I had to get a hold of somebody at Koodo to rectify the situation.
 

On this occasion I activated, my pass I believe on 4 June. But I only saw the charge added on 6 June. I landed in Germany on 5 June. The method I used to activate my travel pass was by sending a text to 7626 with code EU30Pass  

I have included the attachments to show you these charges. I did not receive any notification that I had been charged. I just happened to check because I suspected that there would be some sort of problem on this trip.

So the 2 issues are very different.

However, your concerns here are very valid.  Thank you for posting the screesnhot.

The rep is right, you need to wait for the bill to come and then you can request Koodo to review the charge within your billing page on self serve
