discount offer over the phone

I received a phone call saying that I was being offered a 30% discount on my account for 1 year because we are good customers and pay our bill on time. The caller was wanting me to go to a site called “loyaltyoffer.me”. This brought me to a list of sites about loyalty programs and he was upset when I clicked on the koodo one. I saw a message that this had happened to another person through text messaging. I wrote the number down and discontinued the call. I called the number back but it was not able to connect to anyone. Must be a scam!
