For 30 minutes I have been trying to cancel my plan. Although the agents are polite, I have been transferred twice, required to repeat my personal information, and now on hold. It should not take this long.

We can flag a rep here. He will send you a private message for account verification and confirm your preferred cancel date, whether that is immediate or at the end of your billing cycle. This is not instant because it depends on rep availability and processing time, but your service will cut off on your chosen date to avoid early termination. Reps will use private messages for security questions rather than sharing details publicly.
