Hi there,

can you provide a picture of the cable in addition to the modem you’re looking to use?

With Koodo internet you should have been provided everything necessary to use Koodo’s equipment, are you looking to use your own modem instead? You do have to setup the equipment yourself. Instructions on the setup for Koodo’s equipment can be found below.

The modem coaxial port is exactly the same as the coax port in your wall at home.

Are you sure you are not mixing up the modem and the router?

I don’t have a coax connector in my house. All i have is a twisted pair cable.

The white cable needs to connect to the back of the modem to a coaxial port in your house.  If all you see you can cennect to is the yellow cable (the ethernet cable), i means the Coaxial connection is in a different area of the home (typically the basement).

Yes, I’m aware that they’re different but I don’t have a coax outlet. All I have is a twisted pair so I’m not sure if there’s a way that I can convert that to a coax outlet.

Sorry what is a “twisted pair”?

It’s just a blue cable with different coloured twisted wires inside.

This blue cable sounds like an Ethernet cable.  It is the same style of cable as the yellow cable in your photo.

The end of the cable is like a phone cord, but bigger.

This blue cable must be connected to something.  Is it connecter to a jack or outlet in the wall?  Or is it just a cable that comes in under the floor or through a wall?
