Hi, I'm currently in South Korea and would like to cancel my Koodo account. I have permanently left Canada and no longer need the service. Could you please help me cancel my account?

Hi,

Just to confirm — are you a prepaid or postpaid customer? That changes how cancellation works.

For postpaid: You'll need to contact Koodo directly to cancel. The best option is to schedule a callback through Koodo Assist at www.koodo.com/chat — a rep can process the cancellation for you. For prepaid: You only need to remove payment method.

To add regarding prepaid in case that happens to be the account type to give the full picture, once an automatic payment method is removed the service continues until the end of the current 30 day period.

At the end of the 30 days, the account then is suspended due to non-payment. After an additional 90 days of non-payment, the account closes.

If postpaid, it is recommended to use social media to reach out to a rep as dinh described. The links for the correct pages are found at the bottom of this page, but you have to click the associated logo.
