Cancellation of Koodo Plan within 4 Months

I switched to Koodo last month and there was no contract when I signed up. However the sales representative told me I had to use Koodo for at least 4 months before switching. I saw a really good deal today so I wanted to switch to another company, but what would happen if I cancel my Koodo plan within 4 months?

Did you get a new phone with Koodo when you activated?

No, I was using a BYOD plan. I wonder why the sales rep told me I had to use the plan for at least 4 months.

Not sure why they are telling you that. As long as you are not on a Tab contract with Koodo, you are free to port out to another carrier.
