When koodo says they’re going to contact me during business hours, when is that? What time zone?

Hi there,

That depends, was it a store that reached out to you and said will call you during business hours? As then it would be the business hours of that specific Koodo location. Besides that, Koodo offer many other ways to interact with customers, so the times may differ.

For example, Koodo expert messaging is available in the week during 9am to 9pm local time whereas a stores business hours will depend on the store.

It’s the time zone of your location.

Hi,

I don’t know if it’s called expert messaging, I am on the website and used koodo assist and requested a callback.

If the bot schedules a callback, it will definitely be in your current zone. What exactly do you need help with? Perhaps the community can help.

Hi,

I don’t know if it’s called expert messaging, I am on the website and used koodo assist and requested a callback.

To confirm, when you requested a callback, did it look like it opened up a seperate chat as opposed to the chat bot prompts? As this would be koodo expert messaging.

As I described, they’re available from 9am to 9pm local time (your time zone) during the week. When available, they will respond. Normally with the chat bot, it would allow you to schedule a call at a given time you can choose instead of sending a message. If you messaged someone on there instead it would be with expert messaging. Perhaps we can help you here instead, what is it you need help with?

Thanks! My wifi keeps going in and out. I reset my internet hub thing, restarted my phone. Removed and re-added the wifi network, checked for phone updates. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know!

hmm I see. Some more things you can try is checking the LEDs on your equipment and seeing if an error LED is being displayed. Here is a link that describes each of the LEDs on each piece of equipment and how to troubleshoot if it indicated an issue: Understanding your modem & router (ports & LEDs) | Koodo Mobile

Something else you can also try is by using the koodo internet app to scan your network to detect if there are any issues, this may help as well. Troubleshooting with the Koodo Internet app | Koodo Mobile

Besides that, I would just take a quick check of your cables going to the equipment to make sure they’re all plugged in correctly and not loosely or damaged. If all fails, then you will need the callback as it is possible the equipment is defective or there is something else causing the service to have issues.
