Account migration

i was with public mobile and they offered my to migrate  my account to koodo and i started to and got up to the point where you say yes to the text message and i didn’t do it and now i can’t view mt account anywhere and public mobile closed my account so i can’t login but there still taking my money and on my koodo account is says “Your account has basic access for now. You'll get full access when your order ships.”

what should i do?

That is strange. If you did not respond to the text message, your service would still be active with Public Mobile and the porting process to Koodo should not be successful.

Did you receive an email from Koodo with instructions for the eSIM activation? If not, you may need to go to your nearest Koodo store to get a physical SIM card to activate your service.

In the meantime, I have flagged a rep to confirm whether the port transfer went through.

Hi there! 

I’m sorry to hear about the situation.

On our end I verified and all you have is a tentative account, so the account creation was not completed and there’s no active number, plan or services attached to it. 

You need an active temporary number with a SIM/eSIM with us as well. Once you have that, you can start the transfer process. You may check the page below for the steps:

Kindly note that you need an active number in order to be able to port it out from a carrier to another one, so the number you were trying to move over to us needs to be working at the moment when you initiate the number transfer.
