A couple questions...

I have a couple questions and I'm having a hard time finding the answers.  Also if anyone has the best way to contact customer service, please let me know!

1. A few months ago a Telus rep came to my door offering me internet which I accepted.  Once he was long gone and I got my first bill it came through Koodo.  I am curious as to why/how this happened as I was under the impression it was directly through Telus.  It's not that big of a deal but I did not enjoy making a seperate Koodo account and find it even more frustrating trying to contact koodo. (I have yet to find a direct chat or phone number to speak with an agent or customer service)

2.  My second question is can I pay my internet bill through my bank and not a credit card.  Anytime k try to search an answer it only gives me options for Mobility and asks for a koodo phone number, which I don't have.  I need internet troubleshooting not mobility.  If so how do I remove my credit card from my account.  Again, having a hard time getting in touch with customer service to help with this.

Thank you so much in advance,

Hi there,

  1. It would have depended on the internet they were offering. In some provinces, Telus do offer internet services but most only offer Koodo internet as an option. Telus reps can sell both Telus and Koodo products. It sounds like the rep needed to be more descriptive in what they were offering.
  2. Regarding payment, Koodo internet is a subscription-based service and needs to be setup with either a Canadian credit card or a mastercard/visa debit card from a Canadian bank. These are the only accepted methods of payment for Koodo internet. To change it, you can follow the steps here if you would prefer another card: Koodo Internet: Billing FAQs | Koodo Mobile

For contacting customer service, there is a few ways. You have the community here where fellow customers and reps can assist, you have the Koodo expert messaging via Koodo assist, a callback via Koodo assist, or through their social media accounts Facebook and X.

For the correct social media accounts, you can click the logos at the bottom of this page. Let me know if that covers everything or if you have any more questions. 🙂
