Where is the option to enable account-wide 2 Factor authentication?

Its 2025 and for some odd reason Koodo still does not have the option to enable account-wide 2 factor authentication. We need the option to enable email and/or third party authentication app (Like Aegis or 2FAS) to receive an authentication code before logging in. Text message authentication is not secure enough because it is prone to sim swap attacks. At a time when SIM swapping is at its peak and accounts are being hijacked, there should be more options to secure our accounts better. This is a basic and standard account security feature now. Stop stalling on this already Koodo.

I wish carriers and banks adopted this sooner. My foremost wish would be for them to implement passwordless auth (security key).

They wouldn’t want to install another app just to validate the 2FA. Koodo themselves doesn’t have an app and asking customer to install an app to go into self-serve might not be the best option. As well, many phone also had issue with app installation.

I had my phone hacked with SIM swap and Koodo tried very hard to blame me for it. 

It is insane that a company like Telus/Koodo wouldn't look after it's customer's security.  Took me a week to clean up all my accounts. 

Unfortunately I'm locked in for another 18 months so can't move,  but will as soon as It's done.

2FA has been enabled with SIM swapping already.

Koodo doesn't have 2FA.

Their app just links to their website.

WTF.  Koodo Prepaid has 2 factors authentication at log in page...then I switched to post-paid and no more?  That makes zero sense...

That was their choice. They probably didn’t want customer to call them when they didn’t have access to SIM card and can’t get into their selfserve to check their bill.
