- service announcements to mention Self-Serve downtime for maintenance / upgrades etc
- for announcing promotions
- ideally, one could subscribe to the thread to receive email notifications (alternative would be to use a website monitoring service that will identify changes and send out an email notification, e.g. Blogtrottr.com)
- other Koodo Mobile announcements
