Please offer Stream+ without Amazon Prime

  • chris.rider

Hello,

I am a Koodo customer and I have Stream+. Like many Canadians, I want to remove Amazon from my life because of their association with a US administration that is hurting our country by hitting us with tariffs.

As a response to these attacks from the US, can you offer a version of Stream+ that does not include Prime?

Thanks!

Did this help you find an answer to your question?

Streamplus bundle is made up of all 3 US companies (and Telus TV), I am not sure if removal of AmazonPrime would help.

Yes, they are all US companies, but not all American companies are the equal at this moment in time.

The CEO of Amazon was in the front row of Donald Trump’s inauguration, has publicly aligned himself with the President and even ordered the newspaper he owns to change their editorial policies in ways that make them more friendly to the regime.

I’m sure there are many folks who are happy to remain connected with Amazon and I have no issues with a package that includes Amazon Prime existing.

What I’d like is the choice to have a package that does not include it.

Well, Google, Apple and Microsoft CEO are also there. They are publicly traded company and had to realign with market.

The problem with streamplus bundle is the saving discount with all 3 service together, Telus and US firms can give discount because of the extra savings. If taking amazon out, we might end up with higher prices with the remaining services.

Anyway, if the sentiment is high, I would recommend to cancel streamplus and only add service that you would like as per your preference. Asking people to cancel one service and pay more for other (which are also US companies) seems to be weird.
