when does auto pay remove funds for payment?

Got email saying balance due, as usual. Went to site because I just set up auto pay/pre-authorized payment last month so this was first use of this feature. On site it shows a Pay Now option which confused me a bit. Am I meant to press pay now or should I believe auto pay means it will withdraw funds? This leads to my question, when does auto pay click in and remove funds for payment? Thanks

Hi @Eddie Marano

It usually takes up to one full billing cycle for a pre-authorized payment method to register. Once registered, the payment will be made automatically around 15 days before the next billing cycle. More info can be found here: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/setting-pre-authorized-payments

We recommend waiting until the end of August and if the payment doesn’t go through automatically, you can use the Pay Now option for a one time payment.

As a precautionary measure, I would suggest you to make your first payment through your bank account or credit card to avoid any late charges, since it does take at least a billing cycle to register your details.
