From your description, it appears your Streamplus was canceled and reactivated.

If so, was your Streamplus originally activated with a promo code? If that promo code is not eligible to be re-added to Streamplus, you wouldn’t be able to get the previous price back, unfortunately.. 

There can be a couple of reasons for a price increase. However, to confirm, did you cancel the stream+ subscription through self-serve and then add it again? or did you simply update your payment information and then the subscription started up again? If Koodo cancelled the subscription they would also send you an email, did you receive one?

If it was cancelled and re-signed up, then it is likely that when you signed up for the subscription the first time it was during a promotional period that had credits to reduce the cost of the subscription. If there was no offer like that the second time you signed up, then it would be more expensive.

If you updated the payment info and your Stream+ subscription resumed, then the price increase can be due to the credits from the promotional period expiring or if the subscription tiers themselves increased in price. When the subscriptions increase their prices, Stream+ increases along with it.
