Unable to reach a customer service representative regarding roaming charges on my bill

I was recently travelling and had added the Easy Roam - Asia plan to my account which should have given me 14 days of roaming in India for a fixed price. Instead, when I come back, I don’t see the addon and I am charged for roaming 18$ per day - which is much more than the plan.

I have tried contacting koodo support for over a week and haven’t been able to get to a customer support rep. I keeps pushing me through automated Koodo assist which is unhelpful. They have purposely obscured their phone numbers so I cannot call anyone directly, and whenever I press “connect to a rep” on kood assist, i see a connection problem with a try again button. I have tried using the review charges on my bill functionality for this, and it has the same problem - they send me a link after a while that redirects to a koodo assist chat window and it never opens up, it just says trying to get you back to your conversation and I have not been able to contact an actual human person at all for a week. I have tried phone text or email, multiple different browsers and even multiple devices - they make it incredibly difficult to get support.

Considering dropping koodo as my provider and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau - this is outrageous. I should not have to go round and round in circles to resolve a simple query regarding my bill.
It is crazy that broadcasting my issue to the entire koodo community is the only way to hope that some human contacts me about this, if there are any left in their customer service department. They might as well call it the customer inconvenience department - where we replaced all our employees with AI chatbots!

How did you add the Asia Travel pass to your account? And did you get a confirmation?


I added Asia travel pass by managing my add-ons, like any other add on I suppose. I received an email confirmation, but the email says I added Easy Roam INTL - which is incorrect because I already had easy roam INTL and easy roam US added on my line for about 3 years and have used those plans multiple times. This is what I was hoping to discuss with a koodo rep.

This is not the first time I have seen that adding the travel pass via self serve has caused issues.  Let me flag a rep for you

We have looked into it and we can confirm there was indeed an issue with the provisining of the travel pass back when you added it, therefore we have applied an adjustment to your account.

Regarding the link that you received after submitting the charges review in self serve, have you tried opening the link you get in a different browser while connected to your self serve account?
