Roaming fees charged while in Victoria BC

When you download your detailed pdf ebill, what dates was the Easy Roam charge for?

Please make sure you are logged into the community with your self serve account too so that a rep can identify your account.

To prevent this in the future, i recommend changing your network settings from Automatic to Manual and then select Koodo (note you may need to re-apply this setting after a phone restart).

Thanks for your help! I’m not sure what is happening but I am logged in and can see my account and previous comments I’ve made in this forum.  The bill shows 2 roaming charges - 1 minute each, on 2 separate days.  My daughter was in Victoria, she wasn’t in the US. I’ve passed on those instructions to her. Is there any way to get those charges reversed?

Hi ​@Vanisland, we’ve checked the charges you mentioned and as they are accidental roaming we have added a credit to your account, you can check it out in your self-serve. 

Both charges were triggered by data usage while connected to a US tower. To avoid future charges please make sure that the data roaming is off in the phone settings and it’s manually connecting to the Koodo network.
