You can ask koodo to review the charge in your self serve account.
To prevent this in the future, when you are near the border, you can change your network settings from Automatic to Manual and then you can select Koodo. Note you may need to re-apply this after a phone restart

We have looked into it and we have been able to remove the roaming charge, feel free to check the update amount due in self serve.
