Roaming charges

I was in the US for 10 days and I just received my monthly bill and was charged $80 extra for roaming for 5 different days $16 for each day.

I am contesting these charges because both "Cellular Data" and "Data Roaming" were manually disabled on my device prior to departure and remained off for the duration of the trip. Also, no cellular data was consumed, and no roaming services were utilized during this period.

How do I dispute this?

In your image, all 5 days were triggered by using Talk while roaming.  This mean you used a foreign network to make and receive calls.  That is roaming and you will be charged for that.

Hi @Yi Shiwen, we have looked into the charges you mentioned and they were triggered by airtime usage while roaming. For more details, please check the usage section in your self serve or download your bill for a detailed call log.

For more information on how to prevent accidental charges while roaming, please check out this article.

The charges are valid, but if you would like to dispute them further you can send us a private message on social media via Facebook, Twitter/x or Instagram or speak to the Koodo Expert Messaging team via the Koodo Assist
