When i did my second line, there is a “add a line” credit on it. What happens to the credit if i  remove the first line?

Is this a referral credit or another credit?

Does both lines have the credit on your account?  Or is the additional line on it’s own account?

Koodo doesnt typically have a add-a-line credit.  Did you add a line instore, or over the phone?

It really depends on the terms and conditions of the offer. I have flagged a rep to confirm for you.

in a phone call.

If koodo programmed it correctly, it should be removed when you cancel your original line.

But because Koodo doesnt have a normal add-a-line credit typically, it may not be actually programmed.  Which means the credit may stay.  But it is a risk.

Do you want to know for sure or to risk it?  Drawing attention to it, may mean even if the credit were to stay, Koodo would now ensure it is programmed to be removed.

just want to be better prepared when i need to do this removal.  Not aiming to get a definitive answer.

@suitianshi

The credit offered for adding a line on the account would normally be removed in the event the primary line is canceled, since the original condition for this bill credit was to add a line on an existing account (with an active line)
