Public Mobile to Koodo & Billing

Hey, I just switched from Public Mobile to Koodo and that’s all done and setup but my Public Mobile payment was due soon like the next couple days but now that I’m a Koodo customer, I no longer have access to Public Mobile to make any payments to them and my billing on Koodo says I owe nothing atm, do I still owe Public Mobile anything or was that also transferred to Koodo with my new plan? Is there an option to add funds? I prefer to pay manually as my paydays are not consistent they differ each month so auto payments don’t work well. Thanks!

There should be no outstanding balance to Public Mobile, since it is a prepaid service. It should stop working after you ported over to Koodo.

The balance can be transferred from Koodo Prepaid to Koodo Postpaid by visiting your nearest Koodo store or by scheduling a callback through Koodo Assist, but there is no information for Public Mobile customers. Let me flag a rep for you.

You should get an auto-pay discount by signing up for pre-authorized payments from your bank account. You can choose to pay manually by credit card or debit card, but you will need to pay an extra $10 per month. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/auto-pay-discount

Thank you :) I just wanted to make sure I didn’t owe Public anything! Unfortunately I can’t do auto payments though because my paydays fall on different days each month so there’s no guarantee I will have the money in my account on time and being on a low fixed income, I don’t have the luxury of always having money in my account to cover monthly auto payments so manual is my only option even if it means an extra $10 a month

Hi @Alycatxo, like MilkyWay mentioned above, Public Mobile is prepaid so you do not have a final bill you would need to settle. Is the Koodo account also prepaid or postpaid?
