Question

Overcharged

I paid full in my last billing cycle.

I decided to switch from different network provider because every month my bills are going up. In fact, I am not using much of my data. I paid my balances. If there’s few days from the cycle, this should prorated and not being charged in full. Aside, I have 1 month advanced . This should be refunded or use for the balances.

I’m trying to contact and send request to contact my number but I didn’t receive an answer.

It is important to note that your first bill will always be higher than the subsequent ones, since it includes partial monthly charges from the date of activation until the start of your bill cycle, as well as charges for your first full month of service. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/your-koodo-bill-after-youve-activated-a-new-account-or-added-a-new-line

Can you provide a screenshot of your bill showing a detailed list of charges? Make sure to remove any personal details, as this is a public forum.

Did you download your PDF e-bill?

Can you check your charges/ credit again? The charge could be a pro-rated charge for the service.

What plan do you have, and what is your billing cycle. If you pay your bill too close to your bill date, then your payment may not reflected on your bill.

And let us know which charge you think it overcharged. We can explain the charges

Please note that we are not Koodo employees, so we do not have access to your account.

We can flag a rep for you, but you need to provide a screenshot of your bill in order for them to review the details.

If you do not want to provide this information and are unable to schedule a callback, you can send a message to a rep on Facebook Messenger or Twitter instead. https://m.me/Koodo

The cycle is every 15 of each month.

I cancelled my network on the 15th  September.

Why charging me again for until October 14. It is clearly stated in my account that it has been cancelled.  Why there still amount to pay? This isn’t fair at all. I am calling since yesterday , I always directed to AI assist. I need a real person to talk and cancel my overcharged for $94.40

We are not AI. we are customers just like you. But we have enough knowledge and can provide explanations.

If there are any errors in your billing, we can suggest how to proceed or connect you with the appropriate representative.

The amount can be for the Tab.

Did you buy a phone on the 24 months tab? Can you check your tab payment history?

Thank you for clarifying. It sounds like you already ported out to another carrier, although your original post suggests that you were moving to Koodo.

Since you have already cancelled your line, it will take some time for the balance to be updated. While the bill will not be revised, the correct amount should be reflected on your Self-Serve account.

As mentioned earlier, you will need to either schedule a callback through Koodo Assist or send a message to a rep on Facebook Messenger or Twitter, since you are not comfortable with providing further details. https://Koo.do/Chat

If the provider already got you on sales, at first, they non stop calling you for the good offer. Most of us were attracted in the offer until we will dive in to it.

Few months later, they will increase the monthly bills and if you have questions to discuss with them, there’s no way for us to talk to anybody at all. You have to call the given number 1-866-995-6636 or

1-647-788-4337 but no option to talk to customer service. Too disappointed. I might ask help to

Canada Business Center how can they help me and other people.

There is no direct number to speak with a Koodo rep. You need to schedule a callback through Koodo Assist and ask the chat bot. Otherwise, you can use Facebook Messenger or Twitter to send a message to a rep.

The easiet way to speak with a rep is to schedule a callback via Koodo Assist.  Have you done this yet?  Are you having trouble scheduling a callback?

Hi @Tapc, the September bill had already been issued before the cancellation. Your final bill, issued in October, will adjust the charges to account for the proration.
