One late payment reported after a misdirected payment – can a rep review for goodwill?

I set up a payment arrangement for Oct 29 and paid that day, but the payment went to the wrong payee by mistake. I caught it and paid Koodo in full on Oct 31. The account is current now, and every other month since I opened it in February has been paid on time.

The Oct 30 report to TransUnion shows a 30-day late. I'm not disputing the dates, I'm asking whether Credit Operations can review it for a one-time goodwill removal, given it was an honest two-day misdirect that's been fixed.

Phone support said they can't help with this. Could an Official Rep PM me so I can send my account number and payment proof?

Thanks.

Koodo reports payment history to the credit bureaus as a fully automated process, so once a late payment has been reported it's generally not something they can reverse as a goodwill adjustment, even with the balance paid in full. That's why phone support couldn't help you, that part is really out of their hands. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/past-due-bill

It was only reported as a late payment and didn't go to a collection agency, so there's no collections file for anyone to update either. the impact usually eases over time as positive payment history builds back up, and pre-authorized payments in Self Serve would take the due date out of your hands going forward.

For the money that went to the wrong payee, that one you'd have to chase through your bank. Koodo can't recall a payment that never reached them.
