Mobile Reconnection Fee Issue

Hello,

I was charged a $75 reconnection fee on my latest billing for allegedly not paying an overdue balance by the deadline. I had previous repeated issues getting into my account, had spoken with multiple staff on trying to both get into my account and make payment (including an arrangement which would’ve prevented a suspension of service), and fortunately ended making full payment prior to the deadline yet still received the fee.

I would appreciate speaking with a supervisor on this issue.

We have looked into it and we can see based on the account details, that the services were disconnected shortly before the payment was posted.

We have limited access here on the community when it comes to payment related inquiries, however, we recommend scheduling a call back with the virtual assist, as Sophia suggested or dialing #227 from your Koodo phone number.

We’re mostly fellow customers, and we don’t have insight on your account. You could schedule a callback to discuss the reconnection fee. If you paid by bank, there would have been a delay so perhaps that explains why you were still charged 🙂
