mistaken roaming charges

I was charged incorrectly for roaming charges.  My most recent bill shows that I was charged from travelling to the states but this is incorrect. Who do I contact to reimburse me for my bill

Let me flag a rep to help you out.

To avoid this from happening again, make sure to manually select your network to Koodo, so that your phone does not automatically connect to a nearby U.S. cellular tower. You will need to do this every time you restart your phone.

Hi there,

To confirm, were you within Canada when the charges had occurred / have you recently travelled to the states? Is this why it is incorrect?

If you can elaborate on the charges being mistaken that would help.

We have reviewed the details and we have been able to remove the roaming charge since they were triggered due to accidental data roaming, feel free to check the details in your self serve account when you get the chance.

We recommend switching data roaming off and also switch to manual network and select Koodo, this would prevent the connection to a US tower when near the border.

With a Canada-US plan, there will be no fees for when the phone picks a US tower while near the border,. On top of that, you can use your phone without additional charges in US (some exceptions apply). Me too! And I went to Cuba. I'm waiting for my call from.a rep right now!

@LwezA do you see the roaming charges on your detailed pdf ebill?

 

Also OP is talking about being charged for roaming while in Canada. If you are in Cuba and charged roaming, it is likely due to data accidentally being used or a text was sent or a call made or picked up. 

Can you check what triggered the easy roam charge?
