Missed an auto-payment

I need help. I had insufficient funds in my auto-pay bank account and a payment went through. Koodo says that I paid. My billing due date is for the 6 of April so it's not past due yet. I sent a little more than the amount due via my bank account to Koodo yesterday.

What’s going to happen now and does sending the money afterwards alleviate any late fees or fees in general?

If the payment has been processed and Koodo has the money, they shouldn’t attempt payment again.

As well, if it shows as a $0 balance in your selfserve, you shouldn’t have any late fees or get dinged on your credit profile.

The only thing you may incur is a NSF fee since you didn’t have sufficient funds when they attempted to charge you the first time.

But that’s the thing, it got processed and I didn’t have the money. But I did send the money to the account a few days after this happened.

Amount Due is currently $0.00

And I did get a 10$ NSF fee from my bank.
I’m seeing this. Doesn’t that mean the price is going up?

That would indicate a rate plan price increase yes if you did not change the plan.

When you check the previous PDF bill, does it show a notice of a price increase? It will likely be in small print on one of the pages.

Allan is correct though that if it is showing a $0 balance in self serve, then you’re squared away on the Koodo side. Regarding NSF fees, if there is one it will likely show up on another bill as the one you had was already issued. It will just take some time to show up, it won’t show right away.

It depends on the feature of your bank account.  If you have overdraft protection or your bank allows you to be over drawn then Koodo woudnt know you have insufficient funds and will have had the money.  Was your bank account negative or did they decline the withdrawal?
