For 3rd party microsoft charges you will need to reach out to microsoft to cancel or initiate a refund.

If you want to block any and all 3rd party charges to your line, you will need to speak with a rep,

No that’s not true since the charge has been on my phone bill not on my bank card. Microsoft will only refund through my bank info and they have no record of such transaction through my bank account. I believe it has to be followed up on through Koodo.

The link I provided above, is from Koodo’s official support article.

If you disagree, I recommend requesting a callback via Koodo Assist to speak with a rep.

Hi @Arezou

We have looked into it and based on the details we see on your account, this seems to be an annual subscription with Microsoft, as it was also charged back in 2025, same month.

Koodo customers are able to make purchases from the Microsoft Store and be billed on the Koodo bill.

To be able to do so, the phone number needs to be added as a payment method to their Microsoft account.

A verification code is required to authorize a purchase via Microsoft.

If you have a Microsoft account, can you please check if you see the payment method via the phone number enabled?

We can block further purchases for thid party apps or subscriptions from our end, please let us know.

Payment method shows as Telus and my phone number. I do not have the option of canceling it on my Microsoft account and I would appreciate a refund of this current charge as well

Thank you for sharing @Arezou

Payment method shows as Telus and my phone number.

Based on your confirmation, the Microsoft account was set up with the phone number as the payment/billing method.

TELUS/Koodo is only the payment processor when it comes to third party purchases. The service/subscription was purchased with Microsoft in this case, so it would be Microsoft that you would need to contact if you would like to dispute the Microsoft related charge.

To remove a payment method on your Microsoft account, you can follow these steps: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/accounts-billing/remove-a-microsoft-account-payment-method

To cancel a Microsoft subscription, here are the steps: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/accounts-billing/subscriptions/cancel-your-microsoft-subscription

If you want us to request a block for your phone number for further third party purchases, please let us know.
