I received my final bill and for some reason I’m being charged over $200.00 for a tab for a phone that I paid off back in November or December. I’m trying to get a call back, but when I log into my account and go through the virtual assistant but it says it can’t locate my phone number.

When did you first get the phone? Was there still a tab bonus remaining?
My tab was paid off in December 2025. I paid it off so I could change my phone plan. It says on my bill in December tab pay off. I don’t remember the exact date I got the phone.
It sounds like you paid off your tab which means it was under 2 year. Which means any discounts applied to the phone is in applied on the Tab bonus that is reduced over 2 years. If you leave or upgrade early, you need to pay off the Tab bonus first.
I was paying down the tab on my phone bill every month and then paid it off. My January bill shows no more tab. I need someone to call me about this as that terrible assistant can’t pull up my phone number, mean while I log I can log into my account.
Yes, during the 2 year term you pay off your portion of the tab each month until the end of the term. There is also a tab bonus portion that koodo pays for the duration of the 2yrs.
Even if you pay off your portion early, like you did, koodo still pays the tab bonus until the end of the term. If you leave the company or upgrade the device before the end of the 2yrs, then you have to also pay off the remaining tab bonus balance. You agree to this when you agree to the 2yr term.
When you download the bill, is this the extra charge? If so, then you're responsible for the remaining tab bonus.
