incorrect easy roaming charges - request reversal

Hello

i travelled to India from Canada between 27th to 19 March but never used my phone for data and seems that if you see they got activated in transit as might have taken out at air port from air mode and connect airport internet.

the duration is only one min and it’s a mistake.

please revert the charges as my humble request.

When you mentioned "1 minute", were you referring to the call with I'd "ER/VC", if so,  that wasn't an actual call. It was there to denote an event (data usage, sending SMS or a phone call) that triggered easyroam on that day. I recommend you check your usage of data and SMS to see why Koodo system said you used on that day. 

Anyway, how much were you charged for roaming?

i was in transit on all those days and these are airport location and it would have been active by mistake while I thought it was connected to airport network.

 

please help as my bill is high and it was a genuine mistake

This is customer forum, we can't offer you credit since we are all customers like you are. Let me flag a rep to look into the your usage.

However, if those are legitimate charges, Koodo might not be able to waive them.

We have looked into it and according to the usage details, the charges were triggered due to data usage, we recommend checking the usage details in self serve ,

The 1-minute “ER/VC” that shows on the bill is showing when Easy Roam was triggered, however, if it wasn’t trigger by a call, but by text/data, the usage details can be seen in the self serve using the link we shared above. More info can be found here
