Hi, I left Canada about 10 months ago and would like to stop using Koodo services as I might not be able to come back to Canada. Please let me know how to do that.

Since you're outside Canada, you can't use Self Serve to cancel; but you have a couple solid options:
Fastest route: Message Koodo directly via Facebook Messenger or Twitter/X DM. They handle overseas cancellations through social channels. Links: https://www.facebook.com/Koodo or https://twitter.com/koodo

Alternative if you want a callback: Download a Canadian VoIP app (like Fongo) to get a Canadian number, then use the web chat at www.koodo.com/chat and request a callback to that number. Type "I want to cancel" and they'll schedule one.

Before you go through with it, check https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/things-know-about-cancelling-koodo for any final bill details or prorated charges you should know about.

The Facebook/Twitter route tends to be quickest for people abroad; reps check those regularly and can process cancellations without the callback wait.

Do you have a prepaid or postpaid account? If it is postpaid, and you still have access to the number, you can have a rep call the koodo number by using koodo assist. I'll provide the link below. When prompted, just type in "cancellation" and they will then call the Koodo number you provide. Just make sure only to answer the call and not use any of your other services to avoid charges.

If you would prefer an alternative, you can also cancel by speaking to a rep via koodo's social media pages. Links for those can be found at the bottom of this page by clicking the associated logos for Facebook and X (twitter) and sending them a direct message.

If you have a prepaid account, then you need to make sure you have automatic payments are turned off. Once your 30 days of usage comes to an end, it will not auto renew, then the account will automatically close after 90 days. If you don't have access to koodo self serve to turn it off, you can reach out to a social media rep to assist.

I'll leave another link with extra info about what happens after you cancel if you have postpaid.
