how does international texting appear on bill?

The UL CAN SMS and MMS on your bill means you have unlimited Canada wide text and picture messaging. It does not include international texting by default. This plan covers unlimited SMS and MMS to Canadian numbers and incoming roaming SMS when you are traveling. If you want to text internationally, you would need to add the Unlimited International SMS perk. This lets you send and receive unlimited international SMS and MMS from Canada at no extra cost. On your bill, your base plan shows unlimited SMS and MMS for Canada. If you add the international perk, it typically appears as a separate line item or perk notation. The CAN in the billing code specifically signals Canadian coverage only. Also, international texting is a distinct add-on you would pick separately in Self Serve. 

Under ‘manage my plan’ it says international texting is already included.

have you recently switched to the Can/US/Mexico plan that includes International SMS or have you had that plan for a while? If recent, was the bill issued before you switched the plan? As this would explain why it is not showing.

Did you see something similar like the snapshot below in your plan description?

If that is the case, your plan includes "only" outgoing international SMS,  international MMS is not included. (Sending from Canada)

And the plan does include both sending/receiving SMS and MMS for Canadian numbers. (Sending from Canada)

 It says international SMS in the plan description, but “UL can SMS and MMS" am I covered to send and receive international SMS from/in Canada?
