Help page tells me to go to a page that does not exist

I'm trying to make arrangements to pay my bill that's in arrears (I'm pretty sure that it's not been sent to a collection agency yet) but the Help page isn't helping. It tells me to go to Self Serve and find Billing in the dropdown menu but I can't find it ANYWHERE. Then from the Billing page that does not exist I have to choose Account History which I also cannot find. What am I doing wrong?

That link could be an incorrect one. Typically the payment arrangement should show up in billing section of selfserve. You can find more information here

That's what I'm saying: I go to Self Serve but I can't find Billing, it's not there. Account History is not there. Every link I follow does not contain either Billing or Account History. They do not exist.

Are you still an active Koodo subscriber or have you cancelled your account?

I'm an active subscriber, my home internet is still online.

Maybe try going into Internet and Subscriptions and find a similar wording for what the Help page suggests. I believe the help page is tailored to mobile subscriptions, which you do not have, as you’re a home internet subscriber.

If I recall correctly, the overdue amount must reach a certain amount and your phone line must be suspended to trigger the payment arrangement option. Right now, if you are late on a payment, Koodo is charging you interest at a super high rate.

Anyway, if you would like further options, I recommend you schedule a callback and ask a rep to look into it.

Do you only have Koodo Internet and no cell phone services? Is the internet what you’re inquiring about?

If so, Koodo Internet is a subscription based product. Credit checks aren’t done so it isn’t linked to your credit. I don’t believe it has the ability to make payment arrangements as its a service where you either pay for it, or don’t. There’s no option to rack up a bill and carry over months of non-payment.
They will attempt to get the money from your credit card, if it fails they’ll try a few more times and then eventually shut off the service.

@Dough Dan

We have checked and we can see that the last payment unsuccessful for your Internet subscription. You should be able to find the Subscriptions section in self serve and and then go to your Internet subscription and see if you can update the credit card.

I've been through Internet and Subscriptions several times, there's nothing about making payment arrangements or paying immediately.

So as a home internet subscriber, where do I go to get help with this??

If there’s no option, then there might be none available as Allan mentionned.

Yes, I'm inquiring about my Internet subscription. Sorry I didn't make that clear in my original inquiry, I thought this forum was where I was supposed to go to get help with this. I thought this is where I can tell them that I can't pay in full right now and I need to arrange smaller payments.

I can't update the credit card, it's the only one I have. I just want to make payments using another method, is there any way to do that?

Did you try to use online banking?

It will take about 3 days to process. But if your credit card can't be used, then this is another way to pay.

You can definitely come here to ask questions, just postpaid services run differently than internet ones. Since Koodo internet is considered a subscription service, there is no option for payment arrangements.

The only payment methods that are taken by Koodo internet are the following:

  • A Visa debit or Mastercard debit card from a Canadian bank
  • A credit card from Visa, MasterCard, or American Express

I would love to use online banking but there are no options to do that. ☹️

When I add payee through my bank account, I went to billing section.

You mentioned that no option to do it. What do you see under your bank self serve,?

You are correct, since it falls under Koodo’s subscription service realm, you cannot pay it via online banking like postpaid services. Only via:

  • A Visa debit or Mastercard debit card from a Canadian bank
  • A credit card from Visa, MasterCard, or American Express
