Full month charge with 1 day used for porting

Hi,

I switched online for 1 day from the seasonal hold plan to the cheapest plan available for me($50/month) in order to port out my postpaid line, following what Allan suggested in my last post. However, the bill I received after porting out is $50+tax for the full month. Can somebody help me with this please?

Could you share a screenshot of your bill? Just leave out any personal info.

As well, please share the date that you ported out.

I changed my plan with self serve and ported out on Nov. 30, here’s my bill:

Can you check your PDF EBill?

Is it updated already?

 

It is the same with the PDF EBill as of now.  I only checked after received the email “Your Koodo E-Bill is ready” yesterday.

Ok. So your cycle is from 29th of the month to 28th of the next month.

Your bill ( this bill you are showing) was generated on Nov 28th. But you ported out your number on Nov 30. That's why it's not reflected in this bill. You always pay your service in advance.

So you will receive all adjusted bill next month ( Jan bill).  But, your total due should be updated on overview page before due date. I would wait a week or two to system updates. If total amount didn't update by then, then contact Koodo to get final amount.
