First bill shows "exp. $date" beside every line item, where the date was three days ago.

I signed up with Koodo on January 9th, and ported my old number after I received my Koodo SIM card on January 17th.

Today I received my first bill, and every line item in the “Monthly and other charges” section is followed by the text “(exp. Jan 17 2024)”. That sounds like all the features in the plan I signed up for just expired, and while I don’t really believe that to be the case, I don’t understand what “exp. Jan 17 2024” actually does mean, and that message (or similar text) isn’t shown on the sample bill in the “how to read your first bill” section.

I’d appreciate it if someone would explain what this means. (I tried scheduling a callback from Koodo, but that failed -- all three attempts went straight to voicemail without ever registering as an incoming call, even though I don’t have the callback number blocked).

Hi there @s_m_w

When you se the line with “exp. MM DD YYYY” it does indeed mentioned that a service expired due to a change. Like changing the rate plan or phone number.  We have to always show what services expire and what services are added.

In your case, there is nothing to worry about as it is there due to the recent port in, as shown by the date of when you processed the port in. So, the service expired on the old number and was activated/moved on the new number.

You have the same services that were on the old number.

I hope this answers your question.
